Happy Lunar New Year

Yep, happy lunar new year to everyone. This month was crazy and i'm glad it ended with CNY, at least its sthing to celebrate about. This month was all about gambling and indulging in new year treats, hence the explanation of weight gain...worked so hard to lose those extra pounds and i end up adding them back without hesitation. Well thats just me, i can hardly resist the temptation of pastries and desserts like i did in the past!!

Shit happens thruout january but it wouldn't be good to publicize any of it. I'm proud to announce that once again i've overspend and this time it wasn't on food and presents (x'mas period). This time i finally got to pamper myself with a casual shirt from raoul, polo-t from tommy and t-shirt from Zara and its like ages since i've got myself a new jeans from levis too. Alright time for pics.

17/1/09 - Shokudo & Minds Cafe with godsis
So I decided to ask my godsis to Shokudo for dinner and we had a too much omelets which made us all wana puke right after dinner. Decided to bring my niece and sis to minds after dinner and it was pretty fun.

18/1/09 - Whisk Cafe
Dear Kristi accompanied me to Funan to get my BELATED present and i appreciate it. So i got my speakers and i had to walk with 5kg of heavy load. We decided to head to taka and got some popcorn, fried kway teow and mango smoothie and visited a patient at mt elizabeth (i know the stuffs are UNHEALTHY), but well who cares.

Our initial plan was to dine in Hob Nob Cafe at far east shopping centre but when we arrived there...it was CLOSED!!!! To my disappointment, i had to drag those speaker to Wisma and settled our dinner at Whisk which was surprisingly good =D

Anyway i hope its not the frequent feasting that is causing Kristi to suffer from skin infection.

23/1/09 - Hob Nob Cafe
Both Kristi and I were disappointed that Hob Nob was close on the last visit so we decided to visit Far east shopping centre again... Food was great, dessert was fantastic and there were no GST charge so it was definitely worthwhile. It was shopping spree right after we filled our tummy and i would like to thank Kristi for accompanying me.

30/1/09 - CNY Day 5
Today it was dinner at Grand Hyatt with my relatives who came back from Australia and we went to Straits Kitchen for dinner. Food wasn't fantastic but still passable, it was a widespread of local delicacies from laksas to roti pratas, yep its just some high-end hawker food. I must say at this very moment all food doesnt appeal to me since im about to puke at the sight of anymore of it.

One word to sum up my entry...LUCK!!!! Seriously i was extremely lucky and no1 could stop my winning streak, was the sole winner for the day and we all learnt that the slogan for the day is 'char peng kor li si'.

Wow its just a start of the month and im already so exhausted. Course in SIM has started and with work, gym and studies coming hand in hand, in just like an over dosage of drugs 'completely suicidal'. On top of all this shit, my supervisor is giving me hell lots of trouble in office and i do hope things will get better for me.

New Year Eve Countdown - My Place

Let me start of this entry with new yr eve celebration at my place. We decided to have potluck session on 31/12/08. Well i prepared coleslaw which everyone thought it was nice and krisit toasted chicken wings which my dad marinated for her and using my toaster to complete her job. While yx, grace and cor bought fish head curry, satay and some veg along side with my mum's ee-fu noodle i could say that dinner was sumptuous. Played jenga and did stuff that are completely absurd which i dun want to emphasize on how ridiculous they are, just look at the pics.

Better in time

This month is gona be filled with work, studies, exercise and i dunno wat more would i be pile up with. I hope this dreadful month would pass real soon and CNY pls come soon i need a breather. Looking forward to Macau trip. It's my birthday in just a bit and oh man...age is catching up, time is passing too quickly for me.

Celebrated my birthday last night and sadly many didnt turn up but still i appreciate those who came...kristi, corinne, yx, deny, js and frens, kpek, sg, edmund, my relatives and for those who didnt i still appreciate ur effort to try at the very least. Months after months i had to slogged my ass off at work and i finally got my well deserved leave! Been feeling really unhappy about my work environment but on the side note the facilities there is great, swimming pool and gym are my best friend there and i will not be able to survive my working life there without them.

It was syam's wedding and all of us headed to Jurong for my first ever Malay's Wedding. Well the food wasn't impressive since we went there at around 1130pm. Anyway congrats Syam!

It was meet up with Godiva gang and dinner at Modesto. Damn the food and dessert was great but it cost us a bomb! $46.50 per pax for 3 pastas, 1 pizza and 2 desserts shared among 4 person. Thereafter we waited for Godiva to close and we celebrated Linda's XX Birthday with a Mango cake from Bakerzin.

Lunch date with my dearest godsis at Sweet Indulgence. Seriously the food there was GREAT! Price was decent as well. Shop around for the children's present after that and town was flooded with last min x'mas shoppers.

24/12/08 - Poly Gathering
Sam is finally back and my poly mates decided to have new york new york for lunch but there were just too many ppl. Ended up in Raffles City Shoukuo and i must stay it was a nice place to dine in. Went to Marina Square for pool and cam-whored like crazy there.

24/12/08 - X'mas BBQ
Took a bus down to vivo to pass my sis and my x'mas gift to ry. Chatted for a lil while then headed to my godsis place for BBQ. Lost my way, tried 3 exits from the mrt and finally got the 4th exit right. Walked a good long 15mins before reaching, was drenched with rain water and oh well...no complains, food was good, cake was nice. Merry X'mas everyone and may all ur wishes come true!
